Outdoor Flash

This was a gusty and windy day.  The light kept changing faster than we could dial in settings and make a photograph......

One Light Portraits

Christina No. 1: Christina is warm, spontaneous, full of youth and energy. She is a romantic creative force surrounded by an aura of gold, floating in daydreams and fantasies.

Technical Info: Subject/Model is laying on a gold poster board. Behind her is a roll of diffuse frosty white paper. The light source is anchored above her and shining through the diffuse roll. On the right, direction she is looking, is a handheld reflective silver board, providing fill light.

Christina No. 2:  Christina is mysterious, reserved, conservative and intense. Her form reveals another side of her creative force, which is full of tension and anxiety.

Technical Info: The source light is clamped to a stand about 10-14ft behind her and she is within an inch of the diffuse screen.

Three Laws of Light, Visualized with One Light Source

Unfortunately, this exercise was unsucessful .....

Notes: The mirror was not angled back enough,  the dodging tool was too large, and the camera should be directly above the set.
